Still be in faith
Even if you belonged to a family so privileged.
Still be in faith
Even if every direction leads towards death.
Still be in faith
Even if the door to your success seems closed.
Still be in faith
Even when your life is filled with darkness and you feel so 'lone.
Still be in faith
Even when your roots are supporting you to grow.
Still be in faith
Even when your pillars do not hold you strong to stand.
Don't lose your faith
When you open the box of chocolates only to find it empty.
Still be in faith
When you light your candle and the wind leaves your flame extinguished.
Still be in faith
Even if your locker is not filled with memories or something else.
Still be in faith
Even when it's hard to believe.
Stick to that faith
Even if the pages of your notebook go black in color.
Still be in faith
Even if you got no ways to find your solutions.
Hold on to that faith
And remember- Everyone's journey is a different adventure
and only you hold the key to your own venture.

Expectations Never Die
Someone asked me
Who hurt you?
I replied- "My expectations."
I had a blind trust on you
but all you did was- open my eyes.
You are not a crowd-
Rather, counted in a few.
I think you forgot the promise
that like many is still due.
You consider it a deal, but
my expectations are still!
You saw me make a glass tower
with happiness, and many a love shower
but,
You broke it
You joke it
why even, you decompose it.
Ask me how?
I'd say
"Your silent word power."
Now, my thoughts are becoming ill
but, my expectations are still.
My heart is a thousand miles away
Your soul is far enough too.
On my way, milestones are arranged in a row
And I'd travel the path you show.
It'll always be my will
that, you- my expectations stay still.

Can You Find Me Some Humanity?
Humanity is for you and me.
For the mankind
which you can hardly find.
When you see people begging
Do you even dare to ask them how they're feeling?
What's the matter?
Is humanity a piece of paper
or even worse, a coming together of letters?
"I heard that it's the ability to love..."
Really?
Thanks for correcting.
As we all know
that animals show humanity at best,
But,
How come we always fail at this test?
Question arises-
'Is humanity a deal
or
Is it far away a thousand mile?'
My humanity is alive.
Is yours?

Life As I Know It
They say “A Girl’s life is not a life.”
They have to face a lot of difficult times
“When they come,
They come with their destiny”.
It is not too late that they realize
The difference between boys and girls.
They are told that girls are not to go to school,
And rather stay back,
do the household chores and keep cool.
They can't go alone into the night,
If it is their safety you are concerned about-
Then how come boys have that right?
They can't fulfill their dreams
They can't wear clothes that they want to anyway,
Because all that you think about
Is – “Log kya kahenge?”
They want girls to live their lives scared,
They want to show masculinity over theirs’.
After some time
They married and sent their home,
But who has anyway tried to know what they want?
They were being used statues
And sadly, it is going to continue!
If possible- Try and prove me wrong and true.
I will be here. Waiting to hear from you.

My Wizard
“Walk a little slower daddy,” said a child so small.
“I’m following your footsteps and I don’t want to fall.”
I held his thumb, so I’d never fall
He held me so close, with all his love and no default.
His dreams are seldom spoken
His wants are very few
And most of the time his worries
will go unspoken too.
He says it out loud,
“Life ain’t got to be long
albeit it demands to be big and strong”
I see charm in my dad’s eyes,
eyes that never could lie.
In times of trouble, he stood upfront
None of my wants would he confront.
See me sing and dance, he’d sweetly smile,
that smile stays within me…
and I can walk a thousand more of mile.
Fairy tales can have their Wizards,
I have mine- The best of both Worlds
